The global British cultural diplomacy brand Liberatum and the Turkish creative agency Istanbul’74 in association with AnOther Magazine hosted the second edition of the festival ISTANCOOL a little while ago in Istanbul. Through the whole 3-day lineup of the festival, included conversations of unique individuals such as; the unbounded director Terry Gilliam, Kirsten Dunst, Tilda Swinton, Reha Erdem, Courtney Love, Marco Mueller, Ryan McGinley and many others. The whole experience of the festival reminded the reason of festivals existence are not just to entertain. It’s visual and textual space can shape a generation. In it’s wisdom, a generation can reinvent and recreate their innerself to trace and reveal their artistic, politic and cultural abilities to set up new dreams.
