Launched only in March this year, MONOQI is a fast-growing player in the world of design ecommerce. MONOQI curates a daily selection of outstanding design from acclaimed, established designers as well emerging talent, often introducing designers to ecommerce for the first time. MONOQI functions not only as a shop, but as a resource for design—discovering and featuring the latest the world of design has to offer, always striving to satisfy its knowledgeable audience with high-level, yet accessible products.

Teaming up with Liberatum for the MONOQI LIBERATUM DESIGN SUMMIT further demonstrates MONOQI’s interest in the current state of international design, and will offer unique access for the Berlin design community to world-renowned creative minds.

After over a decade of successful Liberatum festivals globally, including Istanbul in 2010 and 2011 and Hong Kong in 2012, the MONOQI LIBERATUM DESIGN SUMMIT in Berlin promises to be a captivating programme hosting of-the-moment discussions around design, art, fashion, film, technology, music and ideas. Building on the momentum of previous global festivals and with MONOQI’s design credentials as creative springboard, the event will be an awe-inspiring day-long cultural convention, featuring a diverse and insightful line up, always keeping a focus on design.

“At MONOQI, we’re always in pursuit of inspiration. Partnering with Liberatum on our first design summit is way for us to share our passion for design and culture with the community we respect and cherish. We’re excited to be welcoming such magnificent creative minds to our hometown, Berlin”, says CEO Simon Fabich.

Liberatum founder Pablo Ganguli comments, “Liberatum is delighted to collaborate with MONOQI and have the opportunity to create a summit programme that celebrates design in its entirety. And what could be a more exciting city to do it in than Berlin.”
